Winners of the 30th Annual Provincial Auto Parts Mardis Gras Tournament

Congratulations to Bill Smith's team who recently captured the Summerside Rotary's Provincial Auto Parts Mardis Gras Curling Tournament! Also in the picture is Neil MacLean, representing Provincial Auto Parts.

Another successful Mardis Gras curling tournament was recently wrapped up at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club. The Rotary lead event had 40 teams and 160 curlers involved in the tournament.

The winning team was skipped by Bill Smith and he was joined by Mike Tynski, Erick Ferrish, and Sterling Ramsay.

The annual event is Rotary's opportunity to raise funds to cover our STRIVE Program, which donates five $1000 scholarships to local Three Oaks Senior High School graduating students.

This year's events included: meals on both Friday and Saturday night, a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning, a healthy 50/50 draw all weekend, costume contests, a draw to the button with a chance to win $50,000, and simply just lots of laughs and great times!
