In recognition of World Polio Day (October 24th), the Summerside Rotary club raised $1750, by auctioning off some incredibly scary, brilliantly carved Jack-O-Lanterns. The pumpkins were donated by Wyatt Thompson (son of Rotarian Wayne Thompson), and carved by Rotarian Cathy Gallant, her husband Billy Gallant, and fellow Rotarian Angie Arsenault. They were auctioned off by David Anderson.
Thank you to all the members who helped raise the money by generously purchasing these great Halloween decorations, in support of a noble cause.
By raising this money, Summerside Rotarians are helping to end Polio!
