This past weekend, close to 15 Rotarians, along with several community partners, rolled up their sleeves and planted 500 more trees in Rotary Friendship Park.
This planting is part of Rotary’s continued investment in the park, including a $150,000 investment this year to help protect, improve, and grow this incredible community space.
Spanning more than 80 acres, Rotary Friendship Park is one of Summerside’s most important green spaces, and we’re proud to continue investing in its future.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out, dug in, and helped get another 500 trees in the ground.
