2016 Napa Provincial Auto Parts Mardi Gras

The Rotary Club of Summerside recently wrapped up another successful weekend of curling and pancakes. The weekend could not have been made possible without the help of all the volunteers and generous sponsors, including Napa Provincial Auto Parts, Moase Funeral Home, and Key Murray Law.
The weekend consisted of 40 curling teams, 160 curlers, over 450 patrons enjoying our pancake breakfast and numerous volunteers working tirelessly to pull it all off. The weekend culminated on Saturday evening when all the curlers, sponsors and volunteers enjoyed a roast beef dinner at the host Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club.
The winning team for the curling tournament consisted of Bob Picard, Greg Burton, Scott Fingler, and Mike Picketts.
All the proceeds from the weekend will go towards the Rotary Club's Strive program and other community programs. The Strive program is a scholarship program which awards five $1000 scholarships to Three Oaks Senior High school students.
The Rotary Club would like to thank all of its volunteers, participants and especially sponsors for once again making the weekend so successful. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
